  • Spent Christmas 2025, in sister’s new home with her, my brother-in-law, Jack, nephew,Lamont, the Cooper family and friends in Boston area and suburbs​

  • Attended cousin Geraldine’s 80th Birthday Celebration​

  • Attended Lana’s (niece) Retirement celebration from federal government​​

Something people might not know about me:​

  • Ever since I joined the military, following my mother’s and Dad’s deaths, I​

  • have stayed with Lynnette and Ricky whenever I visit or am in the​

  • Tidewater area​

  • I listen to “Music and the Spoken Word,” by the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at TempleSquare Sunday evenings.​

  • I was President of my senior class at Old Dominion College in 1969.​​

  • Shout out to: Aretha Gayle, who supported me during the election​

  • campaign of G. William Whitehurst to the United States Congress and was​

  • my escort at President Richard M. Nixon’s Inauguration and Inaugural Ball.​

  • Shout out to: Mother, Daddy, Billy, Vance, Francine, Michael, Charles,​

  • Geraldine Horne, and James Sidney who are with Willia and me everyday​

  • and remain in our hearts forever.​

  • Transformed non-profit’s volunteer onboarding program from virtual to:  ​

1) in-person, 2) self-paced, 3) co-hort-based​

  • Enhanced Twelfth Baptist technology training from Zoom class to 4 additional classes, Computer, PowerPoint, Canva, Artificial Intelligence​​

Favorite Thing to Do​

  • Watch old Westerns​

  • Travel​​

Something people might not know about me:​

  • I just retired from my part-time job as Director of Training. It was supposed to be 16 hours a week but ended up being 35 hours a week​

  • I play people into my Zoom meetings and trainings from all genres of music​
